The County of Los Angeles Chief Executive Office recently provided supplemental responses to AFSCME Local 685’s request for bargaining-related information regarding safety issues, working conditions, funding allocations for the SYTF, and staffing ratios in the juvenile halls. Your Executive Board and negotiation team have been working diligently on your behalf. We are currently reviewing this information in preparation for the next bargaining session with County management. We will keep you informed regarding our efforts to reach a tentative agreement with the County on a successor Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for our bargaining unit.
