There will be a number of changes at taking place at Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall as the Closed-Circuit Television Project begins to move forward. The Recommendation will begin as follows:
Establish and approve the Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall Closed Circuit Television Project, Capital Project No. 87565 (Project) (5), with a total budget amount of $15,080,000;
Approve an appropriation adjustment transferring $2,897,000 in Net County Cost from the Probation Department’s operating budget to the Project, to fully fund the proposed Project;
Authorize the Director of Internal Services to deliver the Project using previously Board-approved Job Order Contracts and using Telecommunications Equipment and Services Master Agreement contracts; and
Find that the proposed Project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. (Internal Services Department).
