Dear Members,

Today your contract negotiations team met for six (6) hours to develop proposals to improve safety and security in the halls and camps, particularly in light of the state’s decision to transfer responsibility for youth formerly incarcerated in state DJJ facilities to County Probation. Our next negotiations session is scheduled for August 1, 2022.
