Dear AFSCME Local 685,

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the scholarship I received for the 2023-24 school year. Your generous support helped alleviate some of the burden of tuition costs, especially as an out-of-state student.

Thanks to this scholarship, I was able to focus more on my studies and athletic commitments. I am proud to share that I finished the Spring 2024 semester on the Dean's List and was named to the SoCon Conference Honor Roll as a softball athlete. Additionally, as an Interior Architecture student, I had the invaluable opportunity to volunteer and assist in the construction of a house, which was both educational and rewarding.

Your support has played a crucial role in these accomplishments, and I am deeply grateful for your investment in my education and future.

Best Regards,

Leilani Coleman
