The Probation Department has contacted our Union to inform us that they will be initiating Field Deployment effective January 10, 2022. The deployment is due to Covid-19 issues and not holdovers, as our Department has been hit hard with positive test cases.

Preliminary information is that they will cover the AM/PM (6-2; 2-10) shifts at the following locations with no weekend deployment.

· BJN

· CJH

· Afflerbaugh

· Paige

· Dorothy Kirby

Field officers will do 2 weeks of deployment and after 4 weeks the Department will re-evaluate to see if deployment should continue.

We should receive more information by Friday and will share as available. Your Union leadership, including the Vice Presidents of the affected areas, intend to meet with the Department.
