We are reaching out with an important update regarding tonight's general membership meeting. Due to the ongoing fires impacting our region, we have made the decision to cancel the meeting.
This decision was not made lightly, but our priority is the safety and well-being of Local 685 members and our communities. By canceling the meeting, we hope to help keep the freeways clear for emergency fire vehicles and to give space to those who have been displaced or affected by these fires to focus on your families and loved ones.
Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this crisis, especially those in our Local 685 family. If you or someone you know within our Union needs support or resources during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out.
