The Coalition of Probation Unions is holding a rally and press event to demand the Board of Supervisors take immediate steps to support staff safety. Enough is enough – we are sick and tired of officer assaults, lack of youth accountability, unsafe working conditions, the impact of the ongoing hiring freeze, and hiring practices that make it nearly impossible to hire new staff.

Members and supporters – including family and friends! – of Officers and Probation staff represented by AFSCME Local 685, the Supervising Deputy Probation Officers Union, SEIU Local 721, and Professional Managers Assoc., AFSCME Local 1967 are encouraged to attend off duty.

When: Tuesday, August 16, from 10:00-11:30 AM (program starts at 10:30 AM)

Where: L.A. County Hall of Administration, 500 W. Temple St., Downtown Los Angeles

***Carpooling is highly recommended***
